Male and female causes of infertility
The diagnosis begins as soon as the initial consultation takes place. Information about the menstrual cycle, certain symptoms, information about pre-existing conditions, previous surgeries, and experiences with pregnancy in previous relationships provide important clues for the next diagnostic steps.
The treatment of unwanted childlessness is based on the factors responsible for it (diagnoses). The evaluation of various factors then leads to the proposal and implementation of the "tailor-made" treatment.

In fertility preservation, there is a distinction between preservation because the right time is not currently available or because the partner is absent (so-called social freezing), and preservation during cancer therapy or due to an illness that affects the ovaries, such as endometriosis.
Usually, for legally insured couples, all costs for the necessary diagnostics and therapy are covered by the health insurance companies.
