Donor IVF

In addition to significant male fertility problems, is there a fallopian tube blockage in the woman, or have repeated sperm donation cycles with donor sperm not been successful? In this case, of course, a IVF/ICSI can be performed; this is then IVF called a donor cycle. The procedure is not different from the one described elsewhere IVF ICSI.

The different types of IVF, NC-IVF, Mini-IVF™ and conventional IVF are described elsewhere.

Treatment prerequisites

Thanks to the close cooperation with the Berlin Seed Bank GmbH, an optimal donor selection can be made for the couple. As desired, the couple is enabled, through a list of various characteristics of all donors, to choose a donor who most closely resembles the man in terms of physical characteristics (eye color, hair color, body weight, body height, blood group, body build, head shape, hair growth, etc.). This makes it possible for the resulting child to appear externally similar to both of the so-called social parents. Once a treatment contract has been signed with notarized signature, the corresponding therapy can be started. For more information, see www.berliner-samenbank.de.

Conventional IVF

With the conventional method IVF, a relatively high number of eggs is produced through pre-treatment with medication.

Mini-IVF™

The Mini IVF™ procedure is a completely new approach in this field, which was initially developed by Prof. Kato in Japan and further refined by other pioneers IVF such as Dr. John Zhang of the New Hope Fertility Center - New York.

NC-IVF

The very first treatments IVF—including the one that gave rise to the world's first baby, Louise Brown—were laboratory-grown embryos in natural cycles.

Donor IVF

In addition to significant male fertility problems, if the woman has a fallopian tube blockage or repeated sperm donation cycles with donor sperm have not been successful, this can, of course, also be ICSI performed; in this case, it is IVF called a donor IVF cycle.
