Methods of Diagnosis
The diagnosis begins as soon as the initial consultation takes place. Information about the menstrual cycle, certain symptoms, information about pre-existing conditions, previous surgeries, and experiences with pregnancy in previous relationships provide important clues for the next diagnostic steps.
Initial consultation
The problem of an unmet wish for a child is a very personal issue. In the diagnosis and later in the therapy, a high level of trust in your doctor is required. The initial consultation is also intended to help you get to know us so that we can decide whether you feel „well supported“ with us.
During the initial consultation with us, we can already get a first impression of what the underlying problem is. The essential diagnostic steps can be discussed and the therapy that may result from them can be planned.
We do not want to „overwhelm“ you with any diagnostics or therapy; you determine the pace. „Blind activism,“ as is often found in some fertility clinics, is not the path we want to follow with you.
If you already have results from another doctor or a fertility clinic, please bring them along to avoid double testing. However, if the submitted results are not sufficiently informative or no longer current, the corresponding tests must be repeated.
If you have already found a treatment center that suits you elsewhere but would like a second opinion on the planned therapy, we offer this option. without reservations an.
