TESE
Testicular sperm extraction
In cases where no sperm are found in the ejaculate (semen fluid), many patients have the option of extracting sperm cells directly from the testicular tissue. This procedure is called TESE (Testicular sperm extraction). In a minor surgical procedure, testicular tissue is removed and either used on the partner ICSI on the same day or frozen (cryoconservated) first. If the testicular tissue that has been examined for the actual presence of sperm during the surgery is frozen, the subsequent treatment for the woman is just as easy from a logistical and time perspective as the usual procedure IVF.

Here too, the Mini IVF and the conventional IVF (of course, each with its own ICSI) are carried out as „basic treatment“. The NC-IVF However, this is not advisable here, as the „raw material“ (tendinous tissue) is not available in unlimited quantities.
