More money for couples trying to have a child

In Berlin, the Assisted Reproduction funding program will start on 12 August 2015.

In the future, couples with an unmet need for children can apply for a grant from the Berlin state government. With this grant, the costs of the co-payment for the treatment are reduced to 25% of the total treatment costs.

For these grants, the state of Berlin has allocated 1.2 million euros for the year 2015. The funding is intended for the 2nd and 3rd IVF cycle and must be applied for before the start of therapy.
