Intellectual development of IVF„children“
In a special test („Iowa Test for Educational Development“), over 400 children who IVF came from a particular group were compared with an equal number of children from a control group. This test does not measure knowledge; rather, it assesses how various skills, such as the ability to solve problems and analyze texts, are developed.
The study participants were between 8 and 17 years old. The participants in IVF the group performed even slightly better than the children in a control group. According to this publication in „Human Reproduction“, there are no signs of a negative impact on intellectual performance in children who IVF come from such a background.
