Endometriosis – a widespread female disease

Endometriosis is considered a mysterious disease because it cannot be diagnosed at first glance and often not even at a second glance. Often, in connection with an unmet desire for children and only then after conducting tests, it becomes clear that endometriosis is the cause.

To make more information about this disease, which affects about a sixth of women, available to the public, the Berlin-based organization Berliner Fraueninitiative (BFI) initiated a campaign. Vivantes-Humboldt Clinic To help with this, an information day was held. On March 10, 2010, experts from the local Endometriosezentrumcenter were available by phone to answer questions.
